2017 Annual Membership Fees

Farmers  $50
Art and Fine Crafts Vendors/Food Vendors  $50

Members who attend the 2017 Fall Membership Meeting will receive a $10 discount on their Annual Membership Fees for the following year. If they do not attend market the next year, they do not qualify for a cash refund.

In 2018 the Membership Fee will be increased by $20 for those vendors who do not attend the Spring Membership Meeting.

Daily and Seasonal Pass/Fees

Daily Pass only required if you do NOT have a Season Pass
Spaces: Full space 10′ x 10′ ,  Half Space 5′ x 10′
Saturdays: 
Full Space $20, Half Space $10
Wednesdays: Full Space $10, Half Space $5

Season Passes
Spaces: Full space 10′ x 10′ ,  Half Space 5′ x 10′
Saturday Pass (Includes Free Wednesdays)
Full Space – Farm $400
Half Space – Farm $200
Full Space – A&FC/Food $400
Half Space – A&FC/Food $200

Wednesday Only Pass

For 2017, Season Pass holders can choose to either pay $400 at the end of their first market OR this payment plan (no other options will be given)

Farmers’ Market Vendor Application

All vendors will fill out page 1 of the application.  Note – pages 2 – 4 of the application may not pertain to your product. Pay attention and fill in the appropriate fields.  If a particular field does not apply to you – please select the button ‘does not apply’, otherwise it will not allow you to continue to the end of the application. You are finished with the application when you have submitted the form on page 5. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

FEES will be collected ON YOUR FIRST MARKET DAY.

NEWS:  Market vendors will also have to comply with the new 1% Local Option Tax from the City of Sandpoint to fund upgrades to Memorial Field.
*This applies to ALL Vendors, even those that already have business’ in town. The fee is paid to the City from the Market’s proceeds which are apart from any business sales you may have separate from the Market.

State Tax Form link will be sent to you after you have submitted your application.

FMS Membership Volunteering:
When your application has been accepted you will be sent the following information to sign up. Help make the market “a place to go”.

  • Seasonal Volunteer List – please pick an event you and several others can help make it a special event at the market.

Farm Vendors

This is an application for membership/vending only.
You will be notified once your application has been accepted.
You may not sell at Market until you have been notified of acceptance.

The dates for jurying products submitted for Art&Fine Craft and Food Vendors have changed for the 2017 season. There will be no jurying at the market during market hours. Apply in April, May, June, and July and the jury committees will meet 3rd Wednesday of each of those months. Food Vendors – apply and you’ll receive notification date to bring samples for jurying. Applicants will be notified after the jury dates.

Art and Fine Craft Vendors

Please Note: Applications will be accepted on a ‘space available’ basis.

Jurying will be based on:

  • Local
  • Original
  • Homegrown
  • Quality of materials
  • Quality of craftsmanship
  • Products made from raw materials (not assembling of commercial made items; no kits)

Please provide at least 3 photographs of your product.

Food Vendors

You may not sell at Market until you have been notified of acceptance.
New food vendors are expected to sell at 4 Wednesday markets before being invited to Saturday markets.

Vendors using an open or exposed flame or combustible fuel are required to provide a working fire extinguisher.  Any tent structure used where cooking or heating is performed under a tent must be fire resistant, properly anchored, and separated from other structures by a minimum distance of ten feet.  The tent will have a UL Flame Spread/Resistance rating clearly visible and attached to the tent.
