First Annual FMS Photo Contest
Contest rules
Submissions:
Photos must be taken at the FMS during the 2011 season and send via email by October 12, 2011, with the words “2011 Photo Contest Entry” in the subject line. You can copy-and-paste the form into your email or print and submit to the Market Manager.
Photo Contest Application
Photos submitted online (preferred submission) must be a .jpg, .pdf or .tiff file, with maximum size of 10MB. Please include the photographer’s name, age, phone number, date photo was taken, photo category, and photo title.
Photos submitted in person must be delivered to the market manager during FMS hours. Photos should be 4×6″ or larger and must be submitted with the form (available online or from the market manager).
Please limit digital modifications. No digital art.
The FMS reserves the right to utilize submissions for promotional material without compensation to contestants. (All photo copyrights remain with the photographer.)
One photo per category, per person will be considered.

12 and under
13 to 18
Adult
Professional (any person who has been paid for their photography)
Prizes:
Each age group will be awarded one first prize per category.
$5 each category – 12 and under
$10 each category – 13 to 18
$15 each category – Adult
$15 each category – Professional
Judges take care to look at different qualities in each photo. Criteria to think about with your photos:
- Composition
- Focus
- Color
- Exposure
